3-Cent Silver with E-Trac!

Pull tab type numbers ranging from 9/26 - 11/27, but there was something about the tone on this one that said, "dig me"! It was a quick, clear tone that didn't warble at all. This little guy was only about 3" down. I just love the 8x6 SEF coil on my E-Trac! Really helps sniff out the good targets in trashy ground. Very happy to have rescued this tiny coin from the soil.

They are definitely tiny little coins. Congratulations!

Awesome find! Those Trimes have such a unique design and are one of my favorite coins, also very high on my to find list. Way to go on digging such a tough signal and saving a beautiful piece of history!

@ Bryan... Very historic area - found some civil war related items as well. This was a major travel route during that time. Parts of the property were farmed, so iron is everywhere.

Awesome coin find! Sometimes that little "dig me" voice is ignored...but I know you were glad you stopped to bring this coin back to light. Good job!
Charles

Awesome find! Thanks for the pictures.

That's a great looking little 3 cent piece! a rare find that's still on my wish list! Congrats!:clapping: HH

Great find! That is on my wish list! Where in NC are you located?

A little coin but a HUGE find! That is one scarce item, even around my home town of southeastern PA.
Congratulations

That is the ultimate coin in my opinion its at the very top of my list. And its such a bummer it id's so low! My Safari during air tests read it as 36 which anyone would dig using the safari. Now by no means is safari as capable as the etrac I think it ids this coin higher because there are not a lot of variences in the numbers if that makes sense. The machine knows its not a dime but not close enough to id in foil range kinda thing. Any how sweet sweet coin that would make my year.

Nice coin!!! Just a guess but are you from N.C? With a name like Tarheel digger I assume you are a UNC fan living here in North Carolina.

Outstanding find - congrats ! :clapping:

I would love to find one, congrats!
