3/23/08 Checkingout one of my my local beaches:detecting:

This is Montrose beach, Chicago IL. Once summer comes, I'm gonna sweep the area. For all the regulars, don't worry, I promise that I wont venture into the water, just the dry sand.

I am hoping that I will be able to find some more rings and such come summertime.

I would give anything to have a "local beach" My local beach consists of a water puddle in the middle of my gravel driveway!

Well my thought on waiting for summer is because I think all of the other beach combers would of swept the beaches hard, and the summer crowds will leave new stuff. I could be wrong...

Ok, you all talked me into checking now, once I get my beach scoop I will go and check the beaches and I will let you all know what I find.

You can't get it all. It would take you a year to cover that beach. Better start now. Low discrimination will let you find 50% more goodies! Or more....
