Literally!
I hit an old park in a town where I used to live and have hunted previously with some success, but have not hunted it with my Explorer. Once the frost melted away this morning, the deep, old silver signals were jumping at me. I started with a 1901 Barber and the dimes continued to pop out, including a nice 1854 Seated. The next to last piece of silver was a Rosie, cut in half! Just missed the full slam, but I'll take it.
The silver ring has a nice black stone and some diamond chips in it, but unfortunately it met its demise at the hands of a mower at some point. The little pin is sterling, has the words: Associated Gas & Electric System on it and a date of 1852.
Also found 3 Indians, dated 1887, 1903 & 1908 and a small bunch of wheats. Hunted until my arms basically were falling off- a fun day!
HH all!
