2nd time out with the Fisher 1280x

I didn't find much (1 penny, 1 dime and 1 ring marked "THAILAND") Don't know that ring is of much value - looks well worn. Found a sinker and also dug one hole almost to my knee trying to see what it was I kept hearing. Finally gave up and filled in the 'pit'. I had attached two small magnets to the PVC scoop with Liquid Nails. Guess Liquid Nails is water soluable since I lost one of the magnets in the first 10 minutes of it being in the water. The other fell off too but was able to recover it. Was hoping to find lots of items but guess there has to be others with water detectors as well who come to that place. Oh well did get out and use the 1280x so more experience gained.

I was surprised last night that Sherry wanted to go detecting with me - I mean 'detecting' with me not just there to take pictures and enjoy watching me sweat

We found 2 rings - both kid's rings. One is a dolphin with a small stone near its tail. The other was found in two parts - the top is a silver colored flower design with some stone in the center and the ring circle part. Guess someone realized they lost the top part and gave the rest of the ring a toss. Nice to find both halves.

We found 3 charms. 1 is an American Flag charm, another is in the shape of a silver star but with an American F;ag design inside the star and the other charm is a silver "FRIENDS" with a flower design with a purple circle inside the flower and a silver star inside the purple circle.

We found just under $3 in coins (got too dark to see to dig - but not light enough to keep the mosquitoes away).

Thanks to our Father God for the small treasures He allows me to find. Thank you Jesus for all you have done and continue to do as well.
