2nd time out whith Golden Umax

We are having a heat wave up hear in minnesota> This Golden Umax is great > i can chose to dig or not to dig i left lots of low tones in the frozen ice as you can see i captured the gardian of the park treasures and plundered his goods really a good day for me the bracelet is gold plated and i left some cons in the frozen dirt for later the ones i did find whear all in the snow and ice Soon i will have nuclear capabilitys whith the 3x18" coil

That fella looks like he means business. Bracelets are always a nice find. I found one the other day and is was pure junk. Already in the can waiting for the truck to take it away.

hey gunnar whats your opinion of the golden so far? and how deep are you going on these finds?

What is my opinion on the golden so far , ? I really like it its like having back my m-6 the 4 tones are an incredible aid BECAUSE It helps to know what you are looking for if i hear the low tone then i know its iron and i can get my magnet out or know to look for iron this saves time or if i dont want to dig it i can leave it for now . Every time i dont have do stoop down and get back up saves me time and energy if i hear a high tone i know to dig carfully it may be silver the notch works great you will not hear a pull tab but a gold ring will come thru as well as a nickle now i like to dig all targets most of the time and keep the park clean but when yu get tiyerd its so nice to be able to cut the junk out now as for depth its not super deep but you will hit coins as deep as 5" and thats fine whith me i consider it a park machine if i wanted real depth i would get a fisher F-75 but i will have to find something very valuble befor that can happen and i like the coil selection its so nice going from a compadre to a golden but i wish it had the ED 180 and a manuel ground balance but i like the 10 kilo hertz God willing i will get to know this machine this summer Gunnar

that's awsome gunnar, ive played around with mine on the notch feature maybe you tell me where to set mine when trying to seperate nickels from tabs or is that possible? this was just air testing.

i turned the notch to narrow and the dial at 12;00 seemed to work great

Well gunnar i just played with it again the 12:00 setting woul'nt work for me i had to go to 9:00 then finaly got some where it's about a happy medium probably yours might be newer than mine mine is brandnew but the speaker has got the tiny holes instead of the slits like the new ones
