I found an unfrozen spot near a riverbank Saturday. First find was a small spill of two wheats and a nickle (all from the 40's). Near that I found a tiny flat button. The next target gave a really funky signal that was all over the place on the screen. After pulling up a brass harness buckle I still got a strange signal in the hole that was trying to tell me it was silverISH. Next up came a silver nickle - 1943 S. Now the signal from the hole was screaming silver and up came a nice 1960 Rosie. The last target in the area is a "Whatzit" (see photo #2). It seems to be made out of brass. Anyone Know what it is?
Sunday I went back to the cellar hole area where I found the silver 3 center last week. No coins this time, just a flat button and part of an old watch (also found a spoon and a couple very beat pocket knives).
