Went with My friend Roy out to the old church wher we have found several silvers. The coin signals out there are few and far between and it has not been my best hunting location even though I found a Barber Quarter there. I really wanted to try the E-trac out there since it has been such a hard place to hunt in the past and Roy always kicks my butt there. Well, I got there a few minutes before Roy and started to hunt near the driveway entrance. My first signal was a clad dime and I thought it was kinda weird because most of the coins out there are really old (my last coin from there was a 1901 IH). My second signal, a wheatie, came shortly before Roy got there and we started a 5 hour hot hunt with no silver to be found by either of us. I did manage to find 3 more wheat cents there and Roy had to go mow his yard so we called it a day about 3pm. I called my wife and she reminded me that I had a free cheeseburger meal waiting for me in Cooper at the DQ because the had messed up our order a couple of days ago. I was really hungry so I decided to go for it. Well, after the Beltbuster and Jalitos, I decided to go to the old Elementary school playground where I found a silver half earlier this year. My first signal was another wheatie. The E-trac seems like a freakin penny magnet and I am finding a lot of wheat pennys with it so far. I moved closer to where I found the half and got a sweet high tone and a 12-46 TID. I dug down about 4 inches and out pops this nice 1962 Rosie my 2nd silver in three days with the E-trac. I dug a few more clad dimes and memorials and decided to take it to the house. It was a long day but ended well !!
