Found very worn 1876 seated dime right on the surface today. Also found an 1802-1808 artillery flat button. Ill get some pics up tomorrow. Got the usual too... 1 50s wheat and a 1902 v nickel and a couple whatsits.

Looking forward to seeing the pic's............ congratulations Andrew.

I EXPECT TO SEE A DISPLAY THIS MONTH!!! bring your trash too, because I know there's plenty of trash on those hills. Lets see that 5 gallon bucket filled to the brim. lol

I already emptied over 5 gallons out of that park right into the dumpster. Way to heavy to be carrying it around. Thanks for letting me borrow your button book steve.

Congratulations Andrew!!! Those are some awesome finds.

Congrats on the seated dime Andrew and the other coins. I love the "whats-it" finds too. Boy oh boy, we're going to have some awesome displays this month. Sounds like everyone should come so they can see for themselves. HH, Nancy

I just went ahead and took pics of a little bit of everthing i've found this month. The button is tiny. Smaller than a dime and looks like it had been shaved down just a bit around the bottom. The 1 should be clearly visible and you can just see the top.

S-W-E-E-T PICTURES!!!!!!!

SHOW OFF!!!!!!! That's a lot of nice silver there!!!!! Real nice button too.

Yeah yeah yeah mister mystery coin.

One thing about the mystery coin we now know it's silver and not gold.

Small button, worn edge, could it have been a sleave button that would be rubbed everytime you sat at a table or in a chair or working your military job. Just my guess.

Oh my gosh, great detecting! HH, Nancy

Now your just gettin' greedy.

He is out there looking as I type, I saw him earlier. He is looking for a big brother to his mystery silver. I spent a couple of hours there and all I found was two wheats, 1910 and a 1918. I must have had the CTX it in copper mode.
