As I was leaving the church yard, I noticed a penny laying in the dirt by a tree. They had trimmed a decorative circle around the tree for looks and had exposed a penny. It was a 1912 wheatie. The trees were rather small compared to WI trees so I did not detect around them thinking nothing good would be there. After finding the 1912, I detected there the next day. The dimes were all within 15 feet of one another. The Indian was found laying on top of a dirt road we pheasant hunt by. No detector was used. PJ
