2nd month finds with CTX

Howdy Gang:

Well, I have just completed my second month of hunting with the CTX 3030. Before I give my totals, a few facts to keep in mind: I retired this past fall, so I have a lot more time to hunt. I live in a fairly populated county (1 million people), so hunted out city parks is where I spend the bulk of my time. The most I ever hunted in 1 year is 140 hours in 2002 which was my first year detecting. I worked my butt off the last 6 years or so, which allowed me to retire about 7.5 years sooner that I otherwise would have, the point being I did not detect much in the last 6 years (97 hours in last 6 years). Now that I am retired, I can hunt every day if I choose.

So, on to my second month totals with CTX (May 2013) ...
--> 46.25 hours detecting
--> approx 550 holes dug
--> 443 coins found
--> about 15% of a 5 gallon bucket of junk dug
--> 31 wheaties (76 for year)
--> First 2 Standing Liberty Quarters
--> First Buffalo Nickel
--> 12 silver (27 for year, best year ever WAS 12)
--> 1 silver religious medal

Best of all, I had a blast again !!

Wow. That's a nice bunch of finds. I've yet to find a SLQ, but I want one badly. Can you read the date on the Buff?
