2nd lightest gold ring I ever found...but it's GOLD

After getting some chores done and then just hangin', I decided to get out for a couple of hours and do some detecting. I wasn't looking for anything deep, just shootin' for the fast clad due to the time constraints. And low and behold out pops this little light weight, .9 gram, 10k gold ring. Ahh, the joys of detecting:detecting: Here's the pic.

Nice! I went ring hunting today. Dug 137 garbage targets in about three hours with nothing to show for. What did it ring up as? And what type of place were you hunting?

I was at a very trashy park, and I, like you, dug a lot of pull tabs and foil before I got this ring. The ring came in at 12-04. Same as foil. I've tried to guess if the target is going to be a ring or foil when I get a good solid tone and good solid numbers between 12-01 and 12-08, but I can't hear the difference if there is any, so I just dig it all.

Yup sounds about right. That ring hunting stuff sure is hard on the back !
