2nd large cent in one week

Pulled this 1850 large cent from the same place as the first one :super: Also got a 47 rosie 1879 IH 1883 IH 1925 wheatie. Went to my normal beach area got a 43 p war nickle 3 other wheats a marble and couple other things. I enjoyed it hope you do too.

There was nothing penny ante about the one cent piece in the mid-19th century: its buying power was substantial. The famed King Ranch in Texas, for example, came into being in 1853 when steamboat captain Richard King bought 15,500 acres for just $300
