OK put 6 hours on it over Easter weekend. Very happy with it. Found myself switching arms more often than the pro coil but worth it .target ID is great an separation is really good. I was on really good ground etrack in auto plus 3 running between 26 to28 real stable definitely staying on .I was wondering if this has happen to anyone else my etrack would hit 31 I know the highest you can set it is 30 but this has happened before .

i have to agree that the tornado coil is a great coil for fbs explorers/etrac etc... i have one on an explorer se that i recently acquired. i used the pro coil, sef 10x12 as well a few smaller coils. what sold me on it and its now my main go to coil is that i hunt an old fair grounds a lot. Its still used to this day. Anyway, theres a certain area of the park that has bad emi. Its actually the area they put up rides during the fair. Well in this spot even using different machines i could nvr get them settled down enough to hunt it. I got the SE with the tornado coil an was searching around that area, i was running manual 26 sensitivity at the time, i couldnt even use 8 sensitivity using the other coils only time it settled was 7 sensitivity an channel 5. Well not paying to much attention i made it to the area of all the emi, didnt change nothing sensitivity still at 26 and on channel 11. I get 2 deep solid silver hits. 1st was a rosie dime about 7-8" and the 2nd was a very worn dateless SLQ. ive been thru this area many many times with so many differnt machines, coils ect... but once i used the nel, it didnt get all funky on me an it found what i walked over more than a year of hunting that place. Is this coil any better than the pro coil or the sef, i wont say cause there are other factors to consider, but was it better for that 1 certain area of emi..YES!.... i have a Etrac on its way, and i am certainly gonna try this coil out on it as well. Just wanted to put my experience in here with the coil. Sorry cant answer your ? tho, as i dont have the etrac yet.
