Yowza!
A trip to a very hunted socker field payed off. I saw a guy detecting the area a few weeks back & talked for a while. I bet he was silver surfing as he left behind 7 nickles a handfull of poptabs-not a clad or copper except for a 7" dime. But he also missed this!

The big coil was almost unuseable with the factory setting. It likes to be run a lot cooler than the stock or smaller coil. I tried selling the coil cheap as I thought it wasn't working for me.
Now it just pops 'em out loud & clear. If its a solid signal I dig-period. The only issue is target size seems large on shallow targets but I lift the coil & walla...I can tell if its too large.

Also-under strange but true-I pulled a wheatback from an area that has been serously hammered by detectors-including me with a 5" coil!. I heard a slight "goodie" then slowed way down. In a bunch of trash it picked it out fine. just have to slow waaay down.

Another bonus is the ring fits perfect. I normally hate any jewlery having been a mechanic for years. This one is very smooth & thin & I forgot I was wearing it after a while.

was thinking about adding GB to my Silver when it arrives within the next few weeks.
Will have to splurge on one of those 10x12 coils.......

I put the 5.75" coil on mine and power-balanced it per Monte and it's a hot number now. I had to change the setting slightly from the brown coil, but I had decided to keep the small coil on-it's my favorite.
