[attachment 21751 MVC-061S.JPG]:detecting:I would like to thank everyone for the nice comments from my last Posting and for the Settings Suggestions for hunting Trashy and Irony sites. I dug my 2nd Barber Dime with my New Explorer from around 7-8" deep from a older community park here in Charlotte. This park has been hunted hard for many years by my friends and myself with many different machines. I found the Mercury dime today around 6" deep, along with a few older wheat pennies. I'm really impressed with the depth that I'm getting from the Explorer, and I'm definitely looking forward to getting a little rain here in North Carolina. Digging those deep targets in this hard, dry ground is getting pretty rough on the arms and shoulders. But, it's definitely worth it!!! Happy Hunting and thanks for checking out my Post!! DEH59

Nice looking Barber Dime you found. If you are finding Wheats and silver in that park, you are going to be finding a lot of those coins and other items also. When I first started hitting Island Park in Fargo,ND, I was pulling IH,Barber,Seated,Wheats,Merc's, and plenty of other different U.S. coins as well as Foriegn Coins and Tokens. Jewelry Also. I hope you are on the the same path like I was and hope to see more posts of great finds. Good Luck!

Congrats!!!!!!!! Silver is always worth the dig in my opinion :) and a little rain would be nice as it also makes the ground a little more conductive :)

Nice Coins!!!!!!!!!
