Well ,My wife wants to head for the beach, so I will try again for some copper, silver, or gold coins from a 1700s wreck. She will work on her tan while i will try for some old coins. So far the ACE 250 has been very good to me.Ive found numerous Barber quarters as well as old standing Liberties.Any where between 1883 to 1930s.just hope conditions are more favorable ,having had a big storm the other night.Hope plenty has washed up! Will post what I find later tonight. Thanks Wayne

Area has been beat to death but after a storm is certainly your best chance for one of those coins...Good Luck....

Well, both my wife and i wound up on a disapointed note today. She did not get her tan, and no coins at coin beach a 2nd time, I did dig up a old skin diver watch, a very strong signal at about 6 inches deep..I think my wife was ready to call out the coast guard as I got caught in a pelting rain squall that lasted for 15 minutes and left me cold and shaking.I walked the beach 2.5 miles in both directions. The watch was the only true signal for the ACE 250.After I got two signals that I dug showing a nickel. I learned real fast these were false signals due to wet sand .The watch came in as a solid 50 cent signal. Well at least I learned something new about how the ACE reacted to the wet sand..Still better than sitting home in front of a television. I felt like a teen ager not out of breath but strong and full of energy at 63.Thanks Wayne
