2nd & 3rd hunts with the CSC

Man, this rig is down right dangerous! They should have called the CSC -"THE CLAD KILLER" I went out for a full day Sunday to 2 separate fields. I was at the first field a little over 2hrs, and was not finding a hot spot there, so I moved on to another field and spent just under 6 hrs there. I found a real good hot spot there! I had visited each place roughly 5 yrs ago, but I missed the goods last time at the second spot. I haven't had a chance to tally up what I found yet, but I am hoping to beat my personal best quarters/hr. which is 180 Quarters in 6hrs. That was 3 or 4 yrs ago with my ace 250 and a 10x14 dd coil. I had found a lot of 2 and 3 qrtr spills at the time. I am gonna get to counting now.

*These are the piles of remains collected by THE CLAD KILLER.
*Still no rings, but I was skipping a lot of the nickle sounds due to shredded pop cans. I would also like to note that for a big coil, it seems to still make blips on quarters even in fairly trashy areas! I found quite a few quarters by hearing a small blip, then turning and weeding the high tone out at the front of the coil. Impressive!

Actually, I was just looking back, and my best quarters/hr was 145Q in 2.5-3 hrs, but rather I would like to beat my most quarters found at one place in one day. Hoping for 200 on the almost 6 hr hunt.

Here's the totals:
short hunt-2hr 15 min
1 toy car
1 50 cent pc
50-Q
4-N
29-D
34-P
25 trash
$16.44

long hunt-5hr 45 min
3 toy cars, padlock, key, necklace pc. with biblical writing
265-Q
16-N
64-D
68-P
64 trash
$74.13

I guess my next goal will be to accomplish $100 total clad in a day. This unit is paying for itself pretty quickly!
I am trying to keep an exact record of how many hunts and how long it takes me to pay the combo off.

I got to get another CSC

That's one awesome day you had! And I agree, the clean sweep is an insane clad killer.
I got the clean sweep early this spring, wish I had done it a few years ago when I started.

Tesoro Golden Micromax. The notch feature on this machine is awesome. It allows me to cherry-pick quarters dimes and nickel / golden ring signals. I love the way the high tone bangs the quarters in. Very crisp and pleasant sound. However, I could have went with the Outlaw and this coil, and just cherry-picked dimes quarters or even just quarters if that was my only goal. I like the option to search for rings as well, without digging all the in between junk, and therefore I chose the golden. Not to say that I will never get an outlaw in the future, which will also hook up to the clean sweep coil. The golden is going to be my go to rig for quickly retrieving many targets. Love it!
