Of LEAD...Fishing weights. $1.22....Still better than working.Tried out my new used Sunray steath x12 at York Beach Maine. Nothing was very deep so I might as well used the Minelab 7.5 (lighter). At least I Know it is good......coverage is good....falses easier.....can run 7.5 hotter and get same depth... but all in all better coverage. Used it at 18 to 20 sens. with some falsing but when there is a target under coil it is noticable. Had to put it on newer ex. II lower rod just cause on ex. xs lower rod it bobed and weaverd. Just got new-used WOT coil in mail so will have to give it a try another day.

I use 29-30 sens, manual with stock coil, never had falsing...
The depth=exclbr 10" stock coil and i like it so far... wish have 1 FT
on my minelab one day.

There is way to much ground minerals at this beach but 18-20 will pull deep targets, sometime curser is way left but cond. height is right. Nickles get affected the most.
