Hello , has anybody had any experience with this coil?
Please elaborate on your usage and finds. thank ya, Jim:usmc:

I picked one up this past spring. Don't have a lot of hours on it, but it did find some deeper relics that the regular coil missed. Just have to get used to the All Metal sounds. Plan on trying it more this spring.

Hello John, t hanks for the input. How about you and I keeping in touch with our experiences and try to find others. I went out with a guy detecting the other day and he said that he saw a video where a guy put a treasure hound on the front of a quad and drove around with it in the desert and found a huge chunk of gold. I have tried to find the video, but have not. You or anybody else can email me at jimforjzs@hotmail.com
good hunting:detecting: jim

I picked up an old padlock with mine this past spring. I had already gone over the area with the 9 inch coil and a buddy had hit the same spot with his Whites, but the 2 box saw it.

How deep was it?
I just put my treasure hound together and went to a neighbors yard to locate a line for him. I believe I found the lines leading up to the house, but I was getting hits on things around the yard too. They say it is suppose to be a can size or larger that it picks up, but another guy said his even picks up the metal in his shoes and has to turn down the sensitivity.

It was probably about 20 inches down. Just deep enough that the regular coils wouldn't read it. I haven't spent enough time with it to tell how sensitive it is, but hope to find out soon. It did seem to ignore the shallower, small items, which is the way it's supposed to be.
