Ya'll gotta get the 9x12 coil,I'm a newbie but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell the difference between the stock coil and this one.I went to a old church today that I have been to at least 25 times since I have had my 250 I have found lots of clad and 1 wheatie, today I found 3 wheaties and a v nickal and lots more clad I hunted the same spots on purpose to see if I could tell a difference. This might just be luck, but I'm leaving this coil on,the only down side is its a little bit heavier. hi jay im also a gold prospector i run a minelab 4000 and the bigger the coil the deeper it goes i purchased my 250 with the 9x12 coil only paying a bit more for that package for that reason so i could cover more ground and to get the deeper targets thanks MM

Yeah the big coil gets you down there another 2-3 inches and gets those coins you missed with the stock coil.
