250 + 12-incher scores ring...

Hunted a small park in my area that I never knew existed. It's buried back in the middle of a subdivision with no streets bordering it and is hard to find. Don't think it gets hit much if at all. Got this dibby dab out of the tiny playground. Tried hunting the grassy areas and got lots of signals but digging is virtually impossible as once you get past the grass and clover it's solid river rock underneath. Found the ring in the playground and made my day.

Forgot to say - the scroungy, rusty quarter was nearly 12 inches down in the base of the chips. I was about to give up digging.

I notice you have several nickels. My ACE is a nickel finding wonder! I hardly ever recovered a nickel until I got it. I spent an hour in a heavily hunted volly ball court and pulled out 5 nickels. My hunting partner didn't find anything with his comparable Whites detector! Monty

My nickle count goes up using the 250 too. Along with the square tab count. But I pop 'em up anyways as they might turn out to be a gold ring. Everybody else, notch out those nickles, I'll dig 'em for ya!!
