Found this pendant in an old school yard about 6 to 7 inches deep. Looks like some kind of Budha or something in the center made of maybe ivory? Weight of the gold is 4.2gr
 
What type of detector was used and do you remember the VDI reading. That's a difficult item to detect at that depth in a school yard.
 
military friends that travel overseas a lot said the purity of the gold is higher in the middle east, india, etcc.. a lot of it is 21 or 24 KT. they bring back stuff for wives that has higher standards, and cheaper too. Great find! now does wifey, daughter, or grand if your my age get it? lol, i dont get to keep anything!
