$239 For A New DigiSearch Meter. OUCH!

Was looking on Ebay. As many of you know they stopped making a meter for the Sovereign. They want $239 for this meter in new unused condition! Man, talk about pricey. You'd be better off buying one of Ron's homemade meters he has on ebay. I hear they work very well and are going for....what? $60 or something? I see that somebody else on Ebay makes a new meter for the Sovereign now too but it's like $88 and is from over seas so shipping is probably more too.

$239 is low and a bargain compared to last month, as a new DigiSearch meter went for over $300. I myself must have the meter so i do not dig a boat load of zinc penny's. I just can not tell a 180 tone from a 177 tone

With the price increase of the GT and the meter being discontinued I'm just glad I got my GT when I did. I paid $650 used including the 180 meter, rechargeable battery pack, alkaline pack, and hip/chest mount Minelab bag.

I just sold one on Ebay brand new in the box for 160.00 you can still get them NIB just have to do the leg work. I called around to the Mom & Pop detector stores one shop had them NIB I sent 3 others to get the last three he had. the guy that's selling the one for 235 bought mine has had it on ebay for over a month and can't sell it for that price.GREED LOL!
