217 VIEWS AND ONLY 11 GUESSES FOR CONTEST BELOW,

First off, there is no one that is more generous than you Allen in supporting this forum.

Second, maybe people are not aware how much fun it is to sort through gravel to find sapphires. I spent hours going through that bag you sent me and just had a blast !

Third, there is a general lack of activity on this forum and I have seen the activity decline everytime they change the forum software. I don't think anyone particularly cares for the format.

Fourth let me thank you for your generosity, it is above and beyond !

Fifth, I wasn't going to guess as I am the forum moderator, but what the heck, I'm going to guess too.

Sixth: Be Careful Out There!

I want to respond to your #3...
this forum software does suck.
It's very clunky and unintuitive (now normally that is me to a "T", but not with this stuff).
Why can't they change it to the format that the other forums follow?

I notice the lack of activity on this forum too and it's too bad,
you have a lot to contribute but ya gotta have people around to help.

Now what's happening with those lithium systems...(grin).

all comments made with good intent...

regards

I like to see his posts and comments on prospecting. I value his judgements. I don't post a lot because I don't live in a gold area nor do I have the opportunity to prospect much. Matter of fact I have been once in Virginia and found a few flakes of fine gold. But, it is gold none the less. I read a lot and learn a lot doing so. With that knowledge when I do get to go it will be a lot easier. Allen has helped a lot. So everyone please post and let us newbies learn form your experience. Show us the gold and tell us how you got it. Thanks Doc and everyone. Thanks Allen for the contest. Happy Hunting.
