2015 Year End Totals

Attached are most of my finds from 2015.
I ended the year with 313 silver coins. Oldest coin for the year was 1872.
100% of my finds this year came from public parks and schools. I detected in 6 different states in 2015.
No large cent again this year. Maybe I will run into one next year.
I didn't detect real hard toward the end of this year as we had a lot of home improvement projects we were wrapping up at home.
I hope everyone has a great detecting year for 2016!

Dave, impressive to say the least. That's going to be a tough act to follow, but I wouldn't bet against you topping that next year.

Look forward to seeing your posts in 2016.

Ron

pretty amazing FPD....!!!! And to do all that on public ground shows your persistence, hard work, and expertise with the etrac paid off in a big way!

Impressed by your finds all year. Seeing them all together is realy something!

WOOOW !!! Very nice total finds !! You make me very glad I have an E-Trac based on what it is capable of producing when in the right hands ( yours) LoL.

This is the post I've been waiting on... What a fantastic year you and the E-Trac had... :please:
I can't imagine finding 313 silver coins in one year...
Heck I don't think I've found 313 silver coins in my 32 years of detecting...

Can't wait to see the haul you make in 2016... Thanks for the great posts/pictures you made through 2015...

Robert

That makes my back sore just looking at it. Funny that the Etrac has such a reputation for Silver when I noticed you are finding a lot of Nickles just like I am. Quick question have you seen any Silver Coins read over 47?

Yes, I have gotten numerous silver quarters that will hit up to 12-48. In my experience anything > 48 .e.g. 12-50 is always a bolt or nut.

Incredible year you've had there! Very impressive totals on silver and a lot of nice old coins and relics. I think the Etrac is great on silver but also does very well on those old nickels. I love seeing your post, keep it up and best of luck to you in the new year!

No, im not retired. work full time.. Finds are made mostly on weekends when im not doing home improvement :|

Very impressive year for anyone. Are you retired? That looks like a lot of hours per week

Dadgum that's some haul! Wish my old parks and school sites were still producing like that. I have to hunt 7 hours to squeeze out one Merc. Oh well I'd better do some more research.

Thanks for all the great comments guys.
I put in a lot of research time and miles on my car this past year.
I probably wont get out as much next year but detecting is very fun no matter how much time you put into it.
Lets hope for an early spring!
