2015 coins breakdown.......

Another season in the books! I had 3 goals I'd set and managed to reach 2 of them. First goal was to quit digging as many new clad/zinc coins as last year. Last year dug $253 worth and my guesstimate for this last year should be about $150 worth so I nailed that goal and will continue to work on it. Second goal was to dig more silver than last year and did that so nailed the second goal. Third goal was to dig 100 "keepers" and I ended up with 97 "keepers" and I can't tell you guys how hard I tried to get the 100 but couldn't do it. I stayed out until 6" frost....end of Nov. My Barber count was 11 last year and only 4 this year and I blame that on not going into the Big City (aka "Barberville") much this season? Think I made 2 trips there this spring and just can't take it much more? Just hate going in there....period, so I stayed a little closer to Podunk here this season. I did make 3 trips over to Idaho and dug some nice old keepers while there visiting. I got off to a rip-roaring start this spring and things slowly went downhill the rest of the season? I did a lot of privates this season (12-15?) and 3 stick out as being fair to good and the rest were not too good at all. Example: Had one I hunted for 2 days and dug 33 wheats, maybe 10 clad, and not even a Rosie? That was also about the 6th or 7th private in a row without a silver coin.

Only dug 1 first this season and that was a nice 1882 Canadian Largie. Highlight was a Morgan dollar and in 25 yrs of tecting it was my second Morgan ever so that was really cool..... Without a doubt, my best year ever on the Wheaties! I've got every single wheatie I've ever dug over 25 yrs. and I'll guess last years wheats amounts to 20-25% of my total 25yr wheat count...ever.???? (used the Tesoro in sig below for 22yrs...)

Pretty happy over all and loving the etrac.....

Good luck next year

Come guys...get those 2015 finds posted up so we can get thru the winter....!!!!!!

Congratulations on the outstanding year. That Morgan is really sweet, but then again that whole pile is impressive, too.

Keep it up and keep reporting your successes.

thanks guys..........

Super nice work oneguy! Between you and floodplain I'm feeling a mite envious.

Thanks chipper....BUT, I'm not even in the same league as FPD and many others on here.....maybe not even on the same planet...????? There are some real heavy hitters around here, they just haven't posted.

lmao........
