Well ended my year yesterday (12-31-12) with a short hunt on a yard I had hit about a year ago with the Etrac. I found 5 wheaties 1926,1931,1936,1946 and 1947 and a 1944 Mercury Dime. The Silver Dime made #24 for me for the year, a new high for me for silvers. I know thats not many for some of you folks but where I live and hunt, there was a lot of bartering going on back in the day and the few folks that did have Silver pretty much made sure they held on to it! I found a few firsts for me this year thanks to the CTX, I got my first V nickel 1906, first Barber Quarter 1909, first Franklin half 1958 and 4 Indian head cents which is also a yearly high for me. I got 159 Wheat cents and a total of about 1296 coins. Found several rings in the ground this year thanks to the CTX, actually the water season this summer with my Excal was very Subpar, but the CTX found more rings in the ground and most were silver, one was silver and gold. Most of my hunting was done with my good friend MtWolf2270, the other half of "SeaRoverf Subterfuge" and he had some spectacular finds and a few firsts that he will tell you about in his post. The video is from the both of us with our finds. Hope you guys had as much fun this year as we did and heres hoping we all have a safe, happy and productive 2013 with even more and better finds, and lots more firsts!! GL and HH and the 2013 season starts for us within the next few days hopefully!!
