Well here is a pic of the old coins found, also (not pictured)71 wheats and a couple tokens, 2 silver rings and 2 silver pendents. Thanks 4 lookin Mike HH

Jealous of your slq's. I'm still looking for one myself. Really nice finds there. Did you find all those quarters at the same location, just out of curiosity?

2 slq"s and the washington was found where an old vegie stand was, the other 2 and the franklin + about half the dimes came from a park thats been pounded in the past by many a detector. This park I have hunted with my mxt for 4 or 5 years and was lucky to find 1 or 2 silvers a year there, but the etrac made it worth hunting again. Mike HH

Mike you bring up a point as to why I plan on buying an Etrac....I've been detecting this area with my MXT and have found one silver cross that looked very old and a 1890s indian head plus tons of clad.....all I could think was there must be silver here? I can't wait to get a signal with the ETrac and then check it with my MXT to see if it even detects it or what the signal is like. I truely believe from what I read about the ETrac...that I'll pick up more silver for sure. I got my MXT in June and only found 4 silvers all year along with 2 rings....and 2 of the silvers were in my Dads yard. Not a great track record for sure. I've hunted some old areas too! Can't wait to try the ETrac!

how? WHAT,in your view WAS the difference by using the e-trac?
just wondering!..thanks!
