2008 rings (so far)

ok, I took the time to get the camera out.

If it loaded right, top row is gold or has some gold; left to right, 14K, gold filled with 10% of weight 10K, 10K, and 10k gold plated with 3/4 of the plating gone.
Next two rows are .925 silver ... the first one has a real pretty tiger eye and was about 7 inches down.
Last three rows are junk.
The one that sparkles is one carat CZ in a nickel plate over copper mounting, but had me thinking.
The last junk ring is a plastic swan that I spotted while hunting a play field.

Thanks gentlemen!
Here is one of the three bags of tabs collected over the same period. Quarter is pictured for size comparison.

I bet Tabdog's pile of tabs would really be impressive! The only reason I bag up the tabs is that one of the staff at the school my better half works at turns them in to a charity that gets something for tabs. I don't remember what I heard about the details ... but it gives me a reason to put them into a bag. The bag of tabs in the picture went off to school today.
