2001 I'd only been detecting abt 6 mons, with a Garrett 1000. A pal from work just bought a small farm and said I outta hunt this old dwelling on it. So once I got there, [you know the ole routine] started in the front yard. Found a few Wheaties, wire, beer cans, couple pieces of clad. Went around to the back. Well there was a faint trail running from the house to a toppled over ----house. Got to admit there were some targets along that trail. I guess people tend to get in a hurry going that way sometimes. It was under a apple tree that I got a real good signal. So I dug down about 6" and come up with a small wooden chest. Near rotten it was, but something inside sure sounded sweet. I carefully pry ed it open [I was pretty exited] and there was something wrapped in a piece of muslin. I checked it and oh yeah it sounded good. I tore open the bag, and out rolled Cat Bones, with a big Silver name tag-- Fluffy I dug up FLUFFY!! Well I'm feeling the bottom of the rolly coaster now and started to look around to see if anybody seen me. Nobody around, I put the bones, tag, rag all back in the tomb, and tamped Ole Fluffy back down.

I did the same thing, it was a mason jar and the family parakeet was in it, it was deep too, about 18 inches down, but a few years earlier, I dug a fluff marshmallow jar with 1500 dollars in it, so they are there
