You couldn't ask for a better day to hunt, sunshine and moderately warm. Col Andy and myself hit the Boy's Camp again and came away with some pretty good finds. I found 60 cents in clad, several memorial pennies, couple of wheats, 2 old buttons (lost one):ranting: and a large cent. The large cent is in the 1790s, I suspect it will be 93 or 94 once i clean it a little. Col Andy found an early 1800s large cent within 10 feet from the spot where I found mine, it was in great condition. He also found a rosie, some wheats and other misc coins. We had a good time hunting, probably do it again this weekend..

John in Va...........................sorry about the photos, they aren't focused very well.

Way to go gettin that old large cent! If you can send us pick after you clean it up.

Congrats on the super old pennies! Can't wait to see what you fellas find next.....maybe a nice old Silver to match. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you on your next outing at the Boys Camp. :detecting:
