2 wheaties, a knife and some newer stuff

wheaties were 1918 and 1957, knife has serrated edge with locking blade that'll be nice for cutting roots! Silver is still hiding from me. Only 2 silver dimes in a month. One of these days........

Stick with it, eventually they will come. If your finding wheaties there is silver in the area. Which detector are you using?

Use a small coil and set the disc. to cherry pick, find the trashy areas littered with tabs etc., sweep slow and overlap your swings, take your time and pick the coins from the trash. In an area that has been hunted many times this is where the remaining silver is located. Just my opinion.

Finding wheat pennies is a good sign that silver coins are there as well. The good thing about Tesoro detectors is that they can be worked slowly. That coupled with a blazing fast recovery speed makes them the ideal choice for trashy areas.

The hunting season isn't over yet Gunnar. Hang in there and keep trying. I know it has been hotter than hot and hopefully that will break so you can get out and do some hunting.
