New to the etrac .When using 2 tone ferrous , what are the other menu options set to , to go with this program ? - thanks

I'm new as well, but thanks to G4E and other experienced E-Trac operators, and their informative posts on this forum, I had a successful first couple of outings using 2TF. FWIW, here is what I did: ( I'm sure the more experienced with this machine will chime in).

Disc pattern: Minelab relic pattern (next time out I will use a totally open screen... No disc.)
Auto+1
Barely audible threshold
Deep: off
Fast: on
Response: normal
Volume limit: 25
Volume gain: 25
Pitch: 29
Ground: difficult
Trash: high
Keep the contrast setting low as it is easier to see the screen in bright sun light.
You, of course, may need to tweak these settings for your specific site needs. I used the stock coil.

These settings worked well for me at a very trashy relic site. Ferrous will give a low tone and non-ferrous a high tone.

Hope this helps. Still experimenting myself. Good luck!
