Went out with forum member Sleepyjim on Sunday morning-tried a new location. Was finding the usual a few memorial pennies and some trash-- then I dug something about the size of a quarter it was covered with dirt-actually it looked like a small dirt clod that you couldn't rub off--but there was something in there??? About a half hour later I dig up the Needles Liquor Co. Token--i've seen this one before-I think I've got 4 of these now. This ones in the best shape of the ones I've found--alum tokens come outta the ground here in poor shape sometimes. After that it kinda slowed down-a few more lincolns and a clad dime--then i got an iffy signal was gettin a little lazy about then--I looked to see how deep it was --if it was a deep one I was gonna leave it behind--ah about 6in --guess I'll dig it---out comes the indian! Not the prettiest one but it's mine now After an overnight soaking I turned the clod into another token--2 token day makes me happy! Couldn't find any silver between the 2 of us--and didn't even find one wheat!! Jim found a really neat Cracker jack item at this location- check out his post!! I know alot of you guys out there are fighting winter --BUT not here in AZ--- IT GOT UP IN THE 80S TODAY!! Thanks for lookin-and good luck out there!! Tony AZ
