2 silvers yesterday

I got a 1917 merc and a gold plated 925 ring yesterday at a school. The ring is pretty with 2 red stones and 3 real small clear stones. I doubt the stones are real because of the ring being plated. Both were shallow tho. I just happen to be in the right spot. I found the ring as I was casually swinging my way back to the car. I don't shut off my detector till I reach the car and kinda sloppy swing back after hunting a spot. It payed off this time. Sensitivity around 60 and 1 disc. I actually like hearing the iron grunt. The ring came in as a dime.

I was between 2 schools and I saw a dropoff that had washed out. It looked like there used to be an old building there in the past. There were bricks and blocks around. The dime was cemented in dry clay about 2" down and I almost didn't dig it as I had to chisel around it. Concrete is softer than dry orange clay. I am glad I did tho.

Also got a $1.94 in clad with no quarters and a pocketful of junk. I dropped off some prescriptions to be filled and hunted instead of waiting for them. Might as well not waste a trip to town.:detecting:
