I think I'm addicted to metal detecting, better than being a drunk etc....Did a short hunt a couple of days ago with Andy, we both found silver. At the end of the hunt Andy had a silver quarter, war nickel and a bunch of pennies and clad. Myself, I found a couple of deep dimes, 1917 Merc, 1954 Rosie, buttons, some clad, wheats and about 20 memorials. I never get tired of plucking those dimes out, to see that silver shine down deep in the hole is like getting a battery charge (physically). The other aspect is finding real money with real value...

Great finds and a nice pile of clad too. I'm going to turn my clad into a silver coin that I doubt I'll ever find but if I should find one I'd be okay with that too.
