Detected for about 6 hours today. No old coins today, but it was a fun time , found my first Half Dollar 1994, Some clad Quarters and dimes plus 3 or 4 Nickles, And copper pennies Zincs and trash.. I've had My ATPRO 1 Year now and I have found some nice things especially relics with it. I've felt in the past that the ATPRO is not that good on silver coins for my area. But in the last 4 hunts I have found 4 silver coins with my sensitivity at 4 bars. I've allways wanted to rock and roll with full sensitivity, but I think in these trashed places my Macho approach is working against me . I want to hear it all LOL. Less is more somtimes? Thanks for looking

WTG! - I've never found a half, and its been a long time since I've found a silver coin.

great day!! Good digs...I have only found 2 halves in 6 years, and both clad...

HH,

Luke .... Detecting with your sensitivity set at the maximum is similar to driving through fog with your high-beams on. It makes it harder to see where you are going ! Some smaller coils may require a boost, but for the most part the half-way point is sufficient.
