2 silvers, 1 indian, 1 ioof dedication pin one yard

Found 2 silvers, 1 Indian, and IOOf dedication pin. The owner of the house built the Phoenix hotel and IOOF. The IOOF was built in 1870 so not sure if the 1900 on the pin is a lodge number or date. Found all in 2 hunts.

I found another one the next day at another house. What are the odds of that. The 2nd one is in better shape

I am donating my second find to the local history museum. They are excited. I believe donations like this help our cause. It shows
how MD is more than just finding coins but finding history that has been lost and allowing us to MD helps find these lost treasures.

It's a smart thing to do and highly recommended. I give many of my finds to local historical societies or to the farmers whose fields I get the opportunity to hunt. I always ask that if the item is to be displayed that they state that it was donated by localmetal detectorist. Positive publicity can go a long ways.... Nice finds!
