At our MD club picnic and fun hunt at beautiful Fort De Soto Park in Pinellas County Florida,in view of the Sunshine Sky-way Bridge over Tampa Bay,leading to the Gulf of Mexico...
The weather could not have been better today, considering that all week we've been pushing high 80's low 90's.A weak front went by last night dropping temps to the mid 70's making a cool, slight overcast day...all day!
Lots of good food catered in from a local barbecue joint and many covered dishes from the more than 40 members that showed up.Member cost was $10 bucks to eat and hunt.Tokens, clad dollars, red pull tabs, and bingo-go coins(aluminum) were also seeded in the mix for cash prizes........Using the 705 with the 5x10 HF DD coil in pinpoint made for quick recovery of the 44 quarters,94 dimes, and 2 dollar coins in 20 minutes...the earring and belt buckle were also beach finds.............HH GL

been thinking about joining a club...it looks like fun!

I must admit,it's nice to belong to a MD club. The camaraderie,hands-on,face to face help and encouragement from members that are more in tune with the type of hunting that is common for your area can be so much more beneficial to you as a MDer than any forum.....Many members with MANY and ALL types of MD's can give beginners and experienced hunters lots of info and use of different machines to learn and try out!....GL

I see custom and stock, lots of different makes and models...I have not had the pleasure of joining a club yet, but this post sure makes it appealing!
Nice work, Bob!:clapping:
