2 Silver and a Gold

I was discouraged after digging about 3 dozen corroded zincolns. They were coming in from conductivity 35 all the way down to 02 on a few on the CTX3030. I was digging all iffy signals, going for deep targets and they were few and far between. The ferrous line reading was jumpy on all zincolns except for a few that weren't too corroded. Only dug 3 heavy sinkers and figured the sand was back until the next big swell. The El Niño storms have sputtered out unfortunately. I had the small sterling ring and 925 necklace after about 5 hours in. On my way back, 2.5 hours after low tide, mid beach, I get one of my best signals of the day...12.28. Didn't budge, solid. So I am thinking this could be a gold. Didn't get a look at the depth reading as I was in a hurry to beat the tide. 1 scoop I had it. Dipped it down into the incoming tide and there it was...gold in the scoop! 14k, 6.6 grams. Happy hunting!
