2 rings & a gold(colored) chain...3300 strikes again!

Another day of beepin & here's the results...
The chain was one of the 1st targets-too bad its not real.

Then a few targets later I got the nice small silver/torqouise ring. But then I got a first-for me anyhow...A Baby ring...

Frankly I don't get why people would bling thier baby but this one is so tiny it could only fit a newborn. Not real but still an interesting find. The 3300 nailed it @ around 5" loud & clear....

I have found one more trick to share...The best setting for my 3300 with the 10 1/4" coil is spot on ground balance & the 2nd power setting. It beats higher power settings with a softer GB setting any day. But in trashy areas I typically ended up dialing back.

I have started using minimum power with GB spot on for trashy areas. The minimum setting doesn't air test well at all but its enough for coins to5-6" and really cuts out the falsing & unwanted targets in a trashy area...Definitely a case of less is more with this detector.

Cheers!

Congrats !! Job Well Done !! :detecting:

Wtg Darkflight. Those are some nice finds. It goes to show. You do not have to pay a fortune and buy a fancy machine to find the good stuff. I always enjoy your posts and hope to find some of the good stuff with my Discovery3300 when I get it on Wednesday.
