2 ringer and 2 chain day....but no cigar!

Goldstrike

Well-known member
Sweeping through a sand tot-lot yesterday evening revealed the 2 rings, 2 chains and the broach. It was twilight and I truly, truly/wished/prayed etc;!!! thought that the one ring which had the chain attached to HAD to be gold.
Getting it all to the van with better light and my loupe told me it wasn't.....crud!! It was a stainless ring and a non gold chain. The other black ring was a 'One Moment In Time' titanium CTR (Choose The Right) ring. The broach came with, what I thought again was a thin gold chain but proved to be 925 gold plated silver chain. The broach has IKITA stamped on the back which is a French handmade jewelery company I believe.
All good finds but wished there was gold among them. Hey, any ring or chain is better than nothing in your find's pouch right!!.....Ah well, I'll keep swinging and wishing!!!

Nice assortment of finds:thumbup:
2 rings, 2 chains and the broach.......nice score from a T lot, might not be the finds you hoped for, but as we all think, next time could be the one!
Never heard of the CTR .....but always finding something new and different is what keeps us going.

Thanks Bob! That's the 2nd CTR ring I've found. The L.D.S. church (Mormons) use them a lot and they are made for children and adults to wear.

Hay!!! Who said it has to be gold. Nothing wrong with silver. If you ask me, you had a darn god day in that T lot. It sure would have made my day. Be happy... KEN. from Ind.

Thanks Ken....yes, finding any ring (unless it crumbles in your hand)!! is an ok day in my book too!

Goldstrike Congrats!
I like your hunting, two rings and two chains with a brooch is a good choice ... but I understand if you're a bit disappointed with 5 things you do not have jewelry and gold ... I personally thing that bothers me is that ring 'One Moment In Time' titanium CTR certainly worth good money to buy and nothing to sell ...
But you're on the right way, go for the gold!!

Thanks Senda! Yes, they charge an arm and a leg for those rings when new but try selling them used!! They are not worth anything.
DJB......no, not S.L. I live in Southern California. There are a lot of tourists and out of state visitors that visit Socal for the warm/hot weather most of the year and they leave behind a variety of stuff when they leave..lol!

Very Nice finds!
