I am not sure how I missed that the last time I was here....

This home site has given up quite a few nice buttons and buckles and only one or two large cents, so seeing this was a nice surprise. Any idea on the date?

That's a sweet one Gary congrats

It looks like a Ferdin VII Del Gratia --- I believe 1815 to 1826 ish not 100 percent though just trying to help! Anyways congrats!

Regardless of the date, congrats on a nice find Gary. HH Randy

Another great find, Gary. I don't know if Brandon is serious about coming over your way, but I'll be through there next spring. I'm driving to visit a friend in Virginia and then another one who lives in Vermont. I'd be satisfied to find just one of those great coins you guys dig on a fairly regular basis. Some GPS coordinates would fit nicely in a PM! LOL.

Thanks, I'll see what we can do if you're up this way...

I was thinking of starting a catch and release program for large cents... What do you think?

i just choked on my own vomit. That's an amazing find man!

Ha funny, Thanks Tones!

Congratulations Gary, you are killing me with your finds......

thanks Larry it has been a good year. My success has a lot to do with high quality locations to detect and going back to the same location hitting it again and again
