I have a whites dual pro surf pi and like it , but I was wondering if the detector pro headhunter would have been a better choice. Im not interested in talking machines, lights or other gadgets , Just the best bang for your buck with the best electronics for going into the surf and wet sand hunting. Question 2, pinpointer Im looking for the best product. In the manufactured line what do you suggest . As i know the Skil 550 is not for sale in the US? thanks for your help Bill

My hunting partner has the HHer PI where as I have the DF PI and we both do equally well with our detectors... I will say the DF pinpoints alot better than the DP... can't help you out on PPers as I don't dirt dig anymore but I'm hearing good things about the new Garrett PPer..

I have both HH Pulse and Dual Field. Personally, I feel DF is deeper and more powerful.

Please do not call me BS or other names if someone is of different opinion. Let`s try at least to pretend to be civilized first world people.

I read that the vibra-probe pin pointers are water proof. I don't recall seeing other fully water proof pin pointers. Have not tried that product line personally.

Micro

Where did I call you BS?

You posted this statement: "Coil sux (after my weighted PI PRO!) I have to put it down with all my 250lb body weight. SUX!!"

Its my opinion and I post my opinions... you should have dropped this...

I can hold my coil down with a little pressure using my wrist... does that mean my wrist is stronger than your body weight?

William... I have never used a PPer on the beach I guess you could in the dry sand but I can't see a need for it anywhere else... some of us use floating screens so we dump our scoops on them and we sift thru the stuff that way.. I only use mine when digging in the mud and clay water hunting...

If you want to remove those tiny bits of metal that are common on the beach as well as in the water, the pin pointer is the way to go.

I have located the smallest bits of wire etc and many times could not even tell the items were metal until I used the probe (even on dry land).
