Found a 10k and 14k earing over the course of my last 3 lake hunts.... with the chillier weather and lack of anything left other than bobby pins left to be had this could be it for the year, but i hate to think that way...[attachment 322862 IMG_20151122_085830434_HDR1.jpg][attachment 322863 IMG_20151122_0859492411.jpg]

Good work, gold is always nice to find
chilly weather = no hunting ... but there is things in water @ my lake :(
today it is snowing... I was hunting yesterday in rain

Great recovery on the gold earrings:clapping:
Beats those dud studs and tire rim size hoops I seem to find a lot of.
I don't care for cold weather, don't see how some tolerate it. We have our lowest temps hitting us tonight since the beginning of March. Not going to last long but at least we can give the AC a break for a few nights,....................... back to eighties at the end of the week.

Nice gold earrings! WTG!!!! Maybe change tactics and locations to hunt on land and it may actually make a refreshing break from the frigid water hunts!!

Nice Finds. Are those stones diamonds in one of them? Was at the beach a couple months ago and had a young lady tell me she had lost here ear rings and they had diamonds in them. I looked but no success.

Thanks for comments guys... bob, overall this has been one of the mildest autumn's i can remember. ... that being said the water temp is probably real close to 50 degrees.. i dont remember what 80 feels like.... goldstrike, i do have 2 other swimming areas as a plan B.. one i checked out today with a drive by..that lake is slightly drained with most of the swimming area exposed, but i know there are others that hunt that place real hard and there isnt enough trash there to hide alot of gold.. the other is up in hills where not many people own gold...both are an hr drive so i might get out to one those and try my luck.... george, the stones on this one tested negative for diamonds... ya know its the weirdest thing but i notice the sparkly and colorful stones are never diamonds but the slightly duller ones sometimes are, go figure..lol... happy hunting all.....

That's a good haul for this late in the season!! Big Congrads! And stay warm...
