[attachment 329144 DSCN0941.JPG][attachment 329145 DSCN0942.JPG][attachment 329146 DSCN0943.JPG] I know these predate the civil war but I found them close to the sunburst and the s.c button seen these same buttons on civil war 360 when they were showing a confederate uniform. I guess they used what they had on hand. I believe I got these same buttons on a confederate uniform in my book (arms and equipment of the confederacy)

Great finds:thumbup:

Congrats on some nice buttons there!

Nice finds! Those are actually pretty unique as they are not in Alberts Button book. The triangle shaped shield, wing type and angle, head direction, olive leaf and arrow type....when I tried to find one button with all those attributes...none matched up although a couple were close. WTG-Kieth

Does alberts button book only have civil war era buttons? Thanks for the info.

Very cool. Coins are nice but they can't beat a historical artifact.

One piece pre war, 1830's or 1840's I believe. Very nice and you are right that they may be re used from another generations uniform. I would definetly be spending more time at that site.
