2 more confederate buttons fro same field

I guess they used what they had on hand. I believe I got these same buttons on a confederate uniform in my book (arms and equipment of the confederacy)

Nice finds! Those are actually pretty unique as they are not in Alberts Button book. The triangle shaped shield, wing type and angle, head direction, olive leaf and arrow type....when I tried to find one button with all those attributes...none matched up although a couple were close. WTG-Kieth

One piece pre war, 1830's or 1840's I believe. Very nice and you are right that they may be re used from another generations uniform. I would definetly be spending more time at that site.
