First time I ever found 2 mercury dimes in the same hunt and same day. In addition the dimes; I found 6 wheaties and alot of relics too.Not sure what some of it is. I found some kind of brooch with diamonds. Its pretty old; not sure if the diamonds are real or not. Found this stuff at a 100+ yr old house. Dont think it had ever been hunted before.HH
Thanks for looking
Steve

your not very good at taking photo's are you? Never mind I'm sure you will get better over time  Congratz on the dimes!!
Cheers!

I'm sorry..nugget71...but I find your response to be rather rude. We all aren't experts here, just a bunch of normal guys enjoying a hobby.

Keep up the good hunting Steve...and way to go Sir. TomB:detecting:

Great finds!!! Now for the part that will get me in trouble. I agree with Nugget. I don't think he was being rude. I love to see close ups on any old silver or relics. Not many out there have digital cameras capable of getting good sharp close ups. I think Nugget just posted what I was thinking when I first looked at the post, man I wish it was clearer. I find plunking flat coins and relics on any scanner will give a great pic.

I agree, I think he was just poking a little fun. Those are fantastic finds. I'll bet if you go back, use all metal mode and really take your time, there will be more treasures to be had. I'd be happy as a clam with a days finds like you got.

Good hunting, John K

Good hunting Steve! Congrats on IMHO one of the prettiest coins ever minted, the Merc! That brooch is cool also, Beale.
