2 large tokens from early season water hunt

Went to visit friends in South Carolina over the weekend and took the at pro to do some lake hunting. Water still a little cold so wore my chest waders. So we were going to hit a spot on the lake that while not an official swim area, it still stays crowded and sees plenty of boat action in the summer. Well it also sees plenty of action in April too apparently as it was packed! So we went on around the bend and I had my doubts about the place we chose. Well I found out pretty much anywhere there is stuff to be found. While we didn't hit any rings I did manage a 1952 D wheatie and some clad. Lots of melted aluminum there too and I had gotten a lot of it when I got a really sweet sounding 91/92. I was thinking quarter or silver ring as it was loud and clear. Well I dug about 4 scoops down and was still getting the signal so I was thinking whole pop can and just about to give up. I thought "1 more scoop" as it sounded so good, I took a deep scoop, re scanned, the target was now gone! I raised the basket and in among the large amount of sand and clay I see something the size of a Morgan dollar! It turned out to be a token from ground breaking on a church in South Carolina and had a date if feb 13 2005 on it! Pretty cool, so I contributed hunting and after more clad, the wheat and more junk I get another sweet 91/92. Very similar sound and many scoops dep but never thought of giving up as again I was thinking ring or maybe another I the same token, well finally I get it out and in the scoop I see another Morgan dollar sizes token. But this one has soldiers raising he flag over Iwo Jima on one side and says "Honoring the American Veteran" on the other side is a revolutionary war soldier with he old style flag and the words "Preserving American Freedom"! This token was made in 1978 I learned from research in the bet but I can't fun out for what purpose or use so if anyone knows or can find out please let me know. All of these finds came from in the water waist to chest deep. We had to access this place by boat too. So you never know what you're going to find or where, it was a fun hunt even without rings and great to be in the water again and feat practice for te upcoming water season. I'm attaching a pic of I the good and a pic of all the junk I dug to get it, thanks for looking and HH!

Like the 52 wheaty, my birth year.....

You should have been here a few years ago. Water was down almost 10 feet and I think there was only one boat landing that had enough water to launch a boat. I did not detect back then. You can see the floating dock on the right side of the picture. The picture was taken on Lake Marion.
