that's what it took to finely get my 1st gold of this year...i was a huntin fool yesterday determined to break my gold drought...mission accomplished... 1st stop was the river where rafters exit the river.,.found a lot of clad there and the green glass ring was an eye find.. next stop a mountain lake ..1.60 in clad and 1 junk ring.. last stop was my old faithful lake..got about 3.00 in clad there and the rest of the jewelry... ended up with 3 gold pieces.. ring and bracelet are 14k, small earing is 10k... very thin chain is silver... ended up with about 9.50 total in clad.... other ring is stainless.. the red religious necklace mysteriously wrapped itself around my coil without my knowledge ..I didn't notice it until I lifted my coil out of the water...[attachment 300155 php4dcE98PM.jpg][attachment 300155 php4dcE98PM.jpg][attachment 300156 php6xlJ3LPM.jpg][attachment 300156 php6xlJ3LPM.jpg][attachment 300157 phpB5p5jZPM.jpg]

You knocked it out of the Ball Park on that outing. Congratulations.

WTG BH!! Love that chain...!! Go Gett'em BH!!!

A very nice haul!!!

That is a great days hunt! I also check rafter exit/entrance points on a river. I find my fair share of bottlecaps. From what I have seen, rafters prefer Budweiser products over Miller. At least that's what the bottle caps tell me.

Thanks for comments guys..and i think you might be right dgruff as i hadnt found any gold until after that necklace rapped itself around my coil...

You had a great day and that's a nice assortment of gold and clad. Any day is a good day for dirt fishing, but when you find silver and gold plus some clad for gas money, that's just icing on the cake. HH.
