2 indians with the new vaquero

Took the vaquero to yet another field I hunted hunted with the etrac for last five years, last two trips there with the etrac, I could not get any good signals. I was ready to give up on it. This is a no till field so no dirt gets moved around. Perfect test spot for the new vaquero! The 1880 indian was about 6" deep with the large nail right on top of it, had to get aggressive with cleaning to see date. Also got a decent 1874. Man I love this vaquero, lightning fast in iron, these coins just screamed out, nice solid signals.

Way to go on the two Indians. What were settings?

Congratulations on your finds. I thought you would be happy with the vaquero in farm fields. I believe that is where it is at its best. I really have enjoyed mine.

The soil was hard on those two .
the 1874 is real nice except for the plow marks.......but also when a field has fertilizer put on it for 100 years what can you expect coppers to look like lol

say young man , I found out the same thing , the VAQ is good in nail infested sites, I had it on nail hill and it picked out a handful of non Iron targets, i was just amazed, if you can keep at it some silver may come out as well , Nice old cents you are getting , very inpireing.

Nice going on the twins! The Vaquero is an excellent detector and there's no mistaking it when the "V" hits a good target!
